Zdravi

February 26th, 2009 at 11:50 am
Sorry
Tif sent his comment in our native language, because he knows, that Rake in Grass is from Czech Republic (Prague). So I answered him in our language too. I think it’s a bit curious language for the most of foreigners

Oh, it’s Czech. I like the books from Bohumil Hrabal and Prague is the city my wife always want to visit.
Btw, how about the engine you mentioned last time? Any plan/timetable?

We have worked on our first game in our engine. It helps to improve the engine, because we use the engine actively. But we have a delay, because we are very busy last 2 weeks. We published the game Be a King 4 weeks ago and updates of Archibald’s Adventures this week, so there are a lot of work with them
But I hope we will start to work hardly on engine next week again.
Hrabal is very good, it’s great to hear, that you know him! Prague is nice, you must see it!
Czech Republic was a very attractive place for travelers, here are a lot of sights and the stay here was very cheap. But it has been changed a bit and it’s not so cheap today. But it’s still good (a very good beer under $1

Heya,
Any chance you could include the Torque Game Builder Project file in the download zip? It would be great to actually load up the project in TGB.
Thanks
Jeffers

Hi Jeffers,
I’m sorry, but I don’t use any of TGB editors (except a very old version of particle editor). So no project file of any of our TGB games exist. We use only the TGB core and everything program in the script.

Hey! I’m new to your games, and your site and was very happy to see some source code for TGB. I got Archibald for my Touch and noticed you had more games in your credits so checked out your site.
I’m currently learning to program and am teaching myself C++ to start making some simple games.
I’m curious what you made/programmed Archibald in, did you code it directly in Objective-C for the iPhone, or can you use C++ on iPhone too, or did you use an engine? I noticed you also made it for the Palm and PocketPC, so it couldn’t have be made in TGB?
I’m quite interested in learning to do stuff cross platform, but I’m not sure if TGB is the way I want to go/start. Your own game engine sounds interesting, looking forward to it’s release.

Archibald is programmed in our own engine, it support iPhone well.
TGB is not bad, you can try it. It’s good for simple games for Windows and Mac. But we have no experience with its iPhone port yet.
